Google I had an excellent experience at Island Doctor in Los Cristianos, Tenerife. From the moment I walked in, the service was outstanding.
A special mention has to go to the gentleman on reception/front desk. He was incredibly welcoming, professional, and helpful throughout the entire process. He made everything easy, explained what I needed to do clearly, and genuinely went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and looked after. His friendly attitude and excellent customer service made a stressful situation much easier.
The medical care was efficient, thorough, and highly professional, and the whole clinic was clean, organised, and well run. It's clear that patient care is a top priority here.
Medical treatment abroad is never cheap, and Island Doctor is no exception, but the quality of care and service was excellent. They were very helpful with all the paperwork and documentation needed for my travel insurance claim, making the process straightforward so I could claim the costs back from my insurer afterwards.
I would highly recommend Island Doctor to anyone in Tenerife who needs medical assistance. Thank you to the entire team!

Hello Oscar, As you did not provide us with a phone number and the email address you gave us is incorrect, we have been unable to send you your medical report. Without this report, you may not be able to claim reimbursement from your insurance company.
We therefore find it surprising that you have not contacted us, especially since we informed you that you would receive the medical report on the same day and that we would assist you with your insurance claim. Your insurance company requires this report in order to process your reimbursement.
Please contact us as soon as possible with your correct email address or a valid phone number so we can send you the report without further delay.

Gerne möchten wir einige Punkte klarstellen: Der Preis wurde Ihnen vor dem Termin transparent mitgeteilt und von Ihnen akzeptiert. Ebenso haben wir zu keinem Zeitpunkt zugesichert, dass die Kosten von einer deutschen gesetzlichen Krankenkasse vollständig übernommen werden, da dies ausschließlich von der jeweiligen Krankenkasse abhängt und außerhalb unseres Einflusses liegt.
Wir konnten Ihnen außerdem noch am selben Tag einen Termin bei einem Spezialisten ermöglichen – obwohl die regulären Wartezeiten aktuell bei mehreren Wochen bis Monaten liegen. Darüber hinaus haben wir Ihren Arztbericht kostenlos ins Deutsche übersetzt, obwohl dieser nach spanischem Recht im Original auf Spanisch ausgestellt werden muss.
Es tut uns leid, dass Sie mit der Kostenerstattung durch Ihre Krankenkasse nicht zufrieden waren. Dennoch bedanken wir uns für Ihr Feedback und wünschen Ihnen für die Zukunft alles Gute und vor allem gute Gesundheit.
