I was introduced to Barbera by a highly regarded doctor in Playa Blanca -Dr Sofia at the Doha clinic.
As a keen runner and gym user but sadly in my fifties now, I’d been experiencing pain in my hip for over 9 months, so had to stop running and restricted my gym use.
All I can say is Barbera has been a miracle worker. I’m now back running and training for a half marathon and back in the gym. The hip problem was diagnosed after an mri scan as femoroacetabular impingement so immensely grateful for the results. Barbera genuinely cares about her patients and is often checking in with me outside sessions, even at weekends. If you need physio for a sports injury in Lanzarote, Barbera is the go to person to see.

Barbara at Lanzarote physio was able to fit me in at short notice and I visited her at the local Doha doctor's surgery.

She was very professional and spoke excellent English.

She explained everything very clearly and gave me instructions on exercises to help with my issue.

Certainly recommend her to anyone needing a physio I the Playa Blanca area.

I have been an elite athlete for over 20 years and have worked with many Physiotherapists. I now also work at my own practice as a soft tissue therapist and in Hospital Healthcare as a Physiotherpy Technician. So I think I have a good understanding of what a good physiotherapy experience is.
I was in Lanzarote on a weeks break and required some soft tissue therapy. Barbara’s clinic was close to the hotel and with the excellent reviews I decided to get in touch with Barbara.

From the moment I got in contact with Barbara at Lanzarote Physiotherapy I was thoroughly impressed. Quick communication, providing options for treatment times and dates. Offered to come to the hotel and treat as well. However I decided to go to her clinic and it was super easy to find. Actually next to a gym so if you are an athlete you could get Physio and Training in together.

After a brief assessment and then a good explanation of the treatment options… soft tissue therapy was performed. Barabara had good hand skills, she was communicative throughout the treatment and her positive personality shone through.

I was impressed by her professionalism, knowledge and she delivered a great treatment which improved my movement and reduced my pain prior to the session.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Barabara and will be heading back there when I return later in the year.
