No tienen vergüenza.
I purchased a 10-visit spa pass because I enjoy relaxing facilities, and this is one of the few centrally located places in Valencia with a spa and a swimming pool of this size when I’m in the city. The space has been recently renovated and looks very good overall. However, several aspects fall short of the premium positioning reflected in the pricing.
1. Hygiene in the sauna is a concern. Guests sit directly on the wooden benches while sweating, and there is no requirement to use a towel. As a result, the wood becomes saturated, which is not acceptable for a facility marketed at this level.
2. Customer service is the main issue. It is extremely difficult to get in touch with the team. WhatsApp messages go unanswered, and reaching them by phone is inconsistent. When contact is made, the tone can feel unhelpful rather than service-oriented. Booking is also unnecessarily rigid—you are required to reserve in advance, yet the lack of responsiveness makes this process frustrating, especially for occasional visitors.
Overall, the facilities themselves are appealing, but the service experience does not match the price point. For that reason, I would not return.
Nice gym with a spa staff is friendly
I’ve been coming to Tyris regularly for over a year and have also brought several guests, all of whom had a very positive experience. What stands out is the overall concept: a well-integrated combination of gym, spa, and physiotherapy in a central location. The atmosphere is consistently clean, welcoming, and professionally run. The lighting design and overall ambiance create a calm, focused environment, and the team is notably international and approachable, which makes it easy to feel comfortable even if you only speak English.
What I particularly appreciate is the attitude of the staff. Even during busy moments, the team at reception, the trainers, the physio staff, and the cleaning team are clearly trying to give their best. You can see that there is real effort and professionalism behind the operation, which makes a difference in the day-to-day experience.
The quality of training and physiotherapy is strong. The trainers are knowledgeable and engaged, and the treatments feel more clinical and outcome-oriented than in many typical spa environments. The spa itself is one of the better options in Valencia for recovery and relaxation. It’s also noticeable that the facility is being actively maintained and gradually upgraded over time, including recent improvements in 2026, which reflects ongoing investment rather than a static setup.
From my perspective, Tyris is less of a tourist-oriented day spa and more of a place for people who are serious about maintaining a consistent training and recovery routine, which I personally value.
There are a few areas where the experience could be further elevated.
First, pricing could be communicated more transparently online. While all information is available if you ask, providing clearer guidance on packages or indicative ranges upfront would make the onboarding process more aligned with modern expectations.
Second, the digital experience still feels somewhat behind leading international clubs. Booking sessions is relatively manual, and there is no seamless integration into personal calendars. Features such as automatic calendar syncing, app-based self-booking, and a more intuitive interface would reduce friction and help avoid missed appointments.
Third, there is clear potential in the area of performance tracking. The current body composition device appears to be a basic scale-based system that only measures via the feet. More advanced systems typically include both foot and hand electrodes, often using multi-frequency bioelectrical impedance, which provides significantly more accurate and segmental data. Upgrading to this type of device, and allowing members to track results over time within an app, would better match the premium positioning.
In addition, offering a simple 360-degree body scanning or photo tracking setup, where members can regularly capture standardized images and compare progress over time, would add real value. These solutions are widely available and relatively easy to implement, and they create a much more structured and motivating way to track physical development.
Another practical improvement would be to allow more guest passes, even within mid-tier memberships. From experience, bringing guests is one of the most effective ways to showcase the club. Several people I invited ended up joining after seeing the facility firsthand. Increasing guest flexibility would not create significant marginal cost but could generate strong word-of-mouth and organic promotion.
Finally, some parts of the changing and shower areas feel slightly dated and not super clean compared to the rest of the facility. A gradual modernization here would strengthen the premium impression.
That said, these are refinements rather than fundamental issues. Tyris already offers a very strong and well-rounded setup, and what stands out most is the consistency and the visible effort to maintain and improve the space over time.
Overall, it remains one of the most complete and reliable fitness and wellness options in Spain, and a place I continue to return to with confidence.
I went there three times to ask for a tour and to sign up but the staff were "busy" and told me to come back later. a fourth time? not worth the hassle, there are many other better gyms and pools within walking distance.
¡Esperamos verte pronto! Un abrazo fuerte
