When I met Dr. Kamilla all my worries lifted and I finally felt in good hands. Meeting Kamilla a year ago was a lifesaver for me and my pregnancy. She is hands down the best ob/gyn I’ve ever had (both in the States and Spain). Not happy with the obstetricians I had been recommended in Madrid, I took a recommendation from a colleague to book an appointment with Kamilla. As background, Kamilla is well-known at my job as many of the international co-workers in my office are also her patients. She is professional, super efficient, respectful, intuitive, kind, honestly all-around amazing. She was trained also as a psychologist, and she supported me through my medical issues in a way that gave me reassurance and was surprisingly empowering.

She has crafted a one-stop shop for all things related to women’s health and pregnancy; thus, I was able to receive all other necessary treatments in the office from physiotherapy to acupuncture and pre-labor classes. Her midwife is incredible as well, and my partner and I walked away from the delivery of our baby feeling as if we had been guided through the life-changing experience by family.

Everyone really at the center is warm and nurturing, and we are forever grateful to the entire IWHCM family for making our journey to welcome our son healthy and so meaningful.

Exceptional Care at International Women’s Health Center

I had an outstanding experience at International Women’s Health Center, where I received pregnancy care, childbirth support, and postpartum recovery treatments following a C-section performed by Dr. Kamilla Hallier.

What truly stood out to me was the personalized approach and the exceptional professionalism of the entire team. From the very first pregnancy check visit to the postpartum recovery process, I felt completely supported. The staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to help.

I would especially like to thank Ana at the reception, who made every visit feel like coming home, and Ana from the finance department, who went out of her way to assist us with our insurance, even though she wasn’t required to. My deep gratitude also goes to Ana-Sofia (midwife), who was by my side throughout the entire birth process, offering both emotional and physical support, and even helping with documentation. And of course, a huge thank you to Dr. Kamilla Hallier—her expertise, quick decision-making, and unwavering support not only ensured the safe birth of our baby but also helped me go through the entire process feeling as comfortable as possible.

We originally prepared for a natural birth, and the team fully supported this plan, doing everything possible to make it happen. However, due to medical reasons, an emergency C-section was necessary. Dr. Kamilla made this decision and personally performed the surgery, which went perfectly. Thanks to her guidance and the super experienced and professional team of physiotherapists, my postpartum recovery goes as smooth and comfortable as possible.

I highly recommend this clinic and would definitely choose Dr. Kamilla Hallier for my next pregnancy and delivery!

I cannot recommend kamilla and her team highly enough. Another expat couple here. I wanted to find a great female international doctor from the moment we arrived in Madrid, and had heard nothing but multiple good things about Kamilla. When I was planning my second pregnancy I went straight to see her and was not disappointed. She is unbelievably professional, experienced, knowledgeable, not to mention lovely and great fun. Most importantly she gave me complete peace of mind throughout the whole process (which is worth it’s weight in gold- especially in a foreign country). She also has a fantastic network of specialists for anything you need along the way (physios, acupuncturists, lactation consultants etc) so you feel really well taken care of for your whole obstetrics journey.

After a very long search for the right OBGYN to follow my pregnancy, I found Dr. Kamilla. She is the kindest, most thorough and knowledgeable OBGYN that I've ever had in 18 years + in the three different countries that I've lived in. I couldn't imagine going through my pregnancy without her and her team. She is a special kind of doctor who truly loves what she does and cares so much about her patients. You definitely feel the same love from Ann-Sophie (midwife)!

Before and after my pregnancy, I had the privilege to meet and work with most of her team with various prenatal and postpartum
appointments. A very special thanks to her awesome physiotherapists, Alex and Irene, who helped me with my recovery from my c-section!

Dr. Kamilla Hallier is the absolute best. I am so incredibly thankful to have found her and her team. We started our pregnancy journey with the Spanish health system, and felt that we had to figure things out on our own a bit, but from the first moment meeting Dr. Hallier, we felt so taken care of and supported, it was an instant relief during a time when you are trying to understand and take on so many new things. Dr. Hallier truly loves what she does, and she is the best at what she does. You can feel her passion through every question she answers and/or every recommendation she presents you with.. She has a full team of professionals that supports every need that arrises - acupuncture, midwifes, pelvic floor specialist, osteopath - it was amazing. We had to have an ECV due to our baby being breech and that experience was also so amazing and was a success! We were supported by both Dr. Hallier and her amazing midwife Ann Sophie for the birth of our baby boy, and to this day, my husband and I are still in awe of just how amazing we were taken care of by both of them. They held my hand (literally) through the toughest moments of labor, and their patience and knowledge and ultimately the recommended path to move forward when we reached some minor complications were so spot on for what was needed to continue in a natural way as opposed to using interventions. I know that if we had a different doctor, my birth experience would have been very different with a very different outcome. We are so thankful to Dr. Kamilla and Ann Sophie and this amazing team. When I was searching for a doctor during this overwhelming process of trying to figure things out as an expat, so many women recommended Dr. Kamilla, and as soon as you meet her, you will see for yourself why. A million thank you's to you and your team.

We are an expat couple in Madrid. First pregnancy… and at first we tried to go through the local Spanish system but then we decided to go with Doctor Kamilla because we felt the local system was a little too generic and we had language barriers. I’m sure the Spanish system is just fine, but once with Kamilla, we realized a whole new way to go through this process and received another level of personalized attention and care. She is an absolute professional and probably the best at what she does. Her team as well was great, as every pregnancy is different and has special needs, for our situation there were different supports we used with her team which ended up being great. The delivery process as well was amazingly executed, we are still in shock how well it was managed. Doctor Kamilla really cares about her patients and their wishes and well being. She is a gem. We were supported as well by the midwife Ann Sophie who made such a difference in the whole experience in regard to comfort, professionalism, care, and support. It was like having a best friend there to support. If anyone came to me and asked who and where to have a baby, it would definitely be with this team. It probably can’t be translated through a Google review, but I believe this has to be the best team in Spain and if you are searching, this is it…

Llevo mucho tiempo con la Dr. Hallier y he tenido hace ya más de tres años a mi pequeña Carlota con ella. El trato es siempre super profesional y lo más importante es que se toma el tiempo que necesite cada paciente. Gracias a ella y a su fantástico equipo me siento siempre acompañada y bien atendida.

Nunca tendremos suficientes palabras de agradecimiento para la Dra. Kamilla Hallier y su equipo por la increíble experiencia que hemos compartido gracias a ella con relación al embarazo y parto de nuestras hijas.

Después de una experiencia muy negativa en el embarazo de nuestro primer hijo, con un equipo médico diferente, estábamos buscando alguien con un enfoque menos intervencionista del proceso natural del parto, y así terminamos en el International Women’s Health Center de la Dra. Hallier. No podríamos haber llegado a un lugar mejor. Kamilla es una profesional increíblemente atenta y respetuosa. Tuvo en cuenta todas nuestras preocupaciones, sin importar lo insignificantes que parecieran. Nos guió durante todo el proceso del embarazo y parto de forma natural y relajada, pero sin olvidar todos los posibles riesgos y complicaciones que podrían haber surgido dado que estábamos esperando dos niñas gemelas, y a la vez garantizó que todo el proceso de embarazo y parto fuera tanto sano como seguro.

Además, tuvo en consideración problemas previos derivados del embarazo anterior, y se aseguró de que nos atendieran los mejores especialistas, como por ejemplo la fantástica fisioterapeuta Begoña Caldera y su equipo, Irene García, quienes se ocuparon de que tuviera la mejor preparación para el parto y posterior recuperación tras una diástasis anterior, así como su maravillosa matrona, Cristina Rodríguez, que nos dio todo el apoyo necesario y se esforzó al máximo para atender nuestras inseguridades y miedos con relación al parto y lactancia de gemelos. Incluso Anna, la asistente de Kamilla, es increíblemente agradable y comunicativa, haciendo que cada visita a la consulta sea un placer.

En resumen, Kamilla y su equipo nos han regalado la mejor experiencia que podríamos haber tenido, hasta el punto de que lo que finalmente fue una cesárea (por desgracia inevitable, debido a mi cesárea anterior) realmente la disfrutamos como el parto natural que nos hubiera gustado tener. Si alguna vez decidimos volver a tener un bebé, desde luego que nuestra única elección será de nuevo Kamilla Hallier y su equipo.
